Welcome to the shop. This is where you'll come to buy those necessary upgrades for your army when it starts, but unfortunatley, stock's prettly low at the minute.
I need you guys to post here your suggestions for what we should have on sale in the shop. When the game starts, the thread will be emptied and the stock ordered.

i think you should buy an age upgrade...
something like Age of Empires or most stratergy games where you have a limited tech tree until you 'age up' and then you do more advanced stuff (so space ships would come in a latter age) this system would work well, but be quite restricting and overpowering, you could also sell relics that improve parts of your army:
$350 - Relic of the hunter god: increases all stealth and shooting in army by a small amount

i see what you mean. buy the age-up item and then you can find new resource and start new research. Sounds good.
for now don't post prices, cause i'm looking at a more resource based system, using unit points rather than the dollars.

we dont want it to be based on one game, seeing as all the franchises work in diffent ways.
I say we make a place to get more reasearch slots, up to a number, more unit slots, ect.

yep, i was thinking that too.
I was actually planning to use a purchaseable method of upgrading your army, but check the rules when i update them.

Agreed.
I am thinking for pulling out of the game for sure now, and becoming a "full time admin". dont worry about me not having fun. I need experience in becoming a admin and running a site.

thats what I mean. I dont want to play this time, but maybe when theres a franchise wars 2 I would join. but for now I will observe and be a full time admin/ war mod. I will over-see all post to make surethey are ok and comment when needed. plus, I am rushed with HW so I harldy have time for anything.

yea cool its your choise... i was only syggesting a format and something that could be used by everyone because relics are kindof generic... e.g. have nothing to do with any franchise...

ah relics, missed that bit. Now that's interesting.
I suppose if you ever came across a relic (maybe something to do with random events) you could use it to buy something special or trade it for loads of resource. I'll look into it.

Ok, so let me get this straight.
Franchise Wars can be played on here too?
So is this like the Main (Mother Site) Website for all the Franchise Wars Threads in all other Forums?
If so, cool.
As for suggestions, hmm.
It could be like an Armory in a Warhammer 40K 'Dex.
But would the upgrades have to apply to all armies?
So if you're "selling" Bacta Tanks (Star Wars) and say ErA (The Scrin from C&C) wants to purchase it, would that work?

i wouldn't say that this is the HQ thread of franchisewars, it wasn't my idea in the first place. its just somewhere name and i set up to play it without using up massive space on other forums.
I'll try to keep all shop items neutral (make them up ino ther words), but i may borrow a fewthings from other franchises. Yes, they will all be purchasable by all franchises. its only fair. However, if we go with a relics idea, we may make one for each franchise.

you guessed me! YAY! kirby is beast and will kill you all. I mean it. infact, I will change my franchise YET AGAIN! KIRBY'S DREAMLAND!!!
On topic.....
This site is going to be the second franchise war. the first was and is on TTH. the idea came from goldeneye from another site... bla bla bla. basically, goldeneye brought the franchise wars to TTH, and I desided to make a more expanded game on its own site.
the trading system works that any units can be traded, like mercs, and work for that franchise. but, then that does happen, the traded units cant be suddenly made by the buyer.
