The Galaxy-Entrants

This thread is for people who have designed galactic maps to post them to be used in the game. Once all entrants are in this thread will become a poll (if we have more than one) where people can vote for their favourite. Feel free to criticise (ini a productive way) anything that pops up here, as any ideas to improve the game map are greatly appreciated.

What started as a simple concept scetch...this.


led to me making this


and finishing it all up with this!


While im still appealing for rules, basically the idea is that you may travel along the "safe space-lanes" to different solar systems once you have aquired them in your star-map, at the rate of one spacelane=one day.

Its still open to change, hense the undetailed second map, but i think it could fit the bill pretty well.

Im going to post ideas in the other map threads later today, so be sure check them out!

Dont worry yourself. Im happy with dark red. However, i would like that $100 virtual dollars back so i may have the pleasure of buying more needless crap...i believe its called "instinct"

Ghost, now I need you to update your map to include the provided solar systems. Put them in random places and highlight which is which. I don't really mind if there's any gaps for now, cause more systems will roll in eventually.

I have included no spacelanes (yet) as movement rules are pending and i'm leaving it open. I've also kept the systems around the centre to leave a bunch of room for any systems "Discovered" (read as, added) to the galaxy.

Corneria (perfect for life)
Fichina (cold, barren, supports life)

(I have not included the lylat stations at this point because i think it would sorta muck up what we've planned for stations to be.)

Venus (flat, intense pressure)
Earth (perfect for life, moon)
Mars (Airless, but easy to colonise)
Jupiter (gas giant, supports floating bases/ space stations only)
Saturn (gas giant, supports floating bases/ space stations only)
Uranus (oceanic (methane), airless)
Neptune (oceanic, airless)

1 asteroid belt

2 moons
Earths moon
Pluto

(Only earth has a moon, and pluto counts as one, simply because there would be a ridiculous amount of problems that could arise from having...is it around a hundred?... or eighty? Doesn't matter... its a lot and its silly.)

3. the Kaurava system

Kaurava I (arid, supports life)
Kaurava II (perfect for life, moon, moon)
Kaurava III (barren, red deserts cover surface, ringed, supports life)
Kaurava IV (perfect for life, moon)

3 moons
Kaurava alpha

Kaurava gamma

(a nice small system, perhaps a good starter?)

4. The Facade system

1 Young Star

13 Planets:
Decendra (Lush with forests, high mountain peaks)
Jurn (Small, desert world with hardly any life)
Kerzior (Unknown terrain)
Dres (Cold planet made of rock and ice)
Grizwark (Large, hot planet with life form readings)
Zear (Unknown terrain)
Zolsturn (Unknown terrain)
Endrospeer (Unknown terrain)
Durgrim (Small windy planet, no other info given)

Irsklen (Uninhabitable, temperatures may be hazardous [hot])
Wyrm (Medium desert world)

Armageddon (abandoned city planet, easily re-inhabited)
Theroc (forested, perfect for life)

(all planets here are planets from great sci-fi shows/games/books.
You got some KOTOR, Mass Effect, Saga of 7 Suns, Dead Space, Doctor Who, 40k... and thats it.)

for future reference, dont ask about the names kirby's units, planet, ect. I know their weird, but hey, its japan.

anyways, the planet is really called popstar, but the land of which kirby came from is called Dreamland.

Kirby came from somewhere else, but its not known.
