I'd like to point out that due to the lack of a backlog of threads, and due to people not being on for some time, the thread necromancy rule does not apply.
I'm also calling a meeting at a date to be confirmed, where players can decide if we continue from the given starting date or we continue from a new date when we all return. For now continue as normal, but bear in mind that your continuations may have to be taken back.

This has also happened on my Forum. And despite our efforts to scour the web for players, these are busy times...
Franchise wars seems to be more of a summer game....I wish it weren't so, but I cannot deny the facts any longer. No matter how badly I want to keep this all up.

ok.... like I said, I have been having problems with school, and I got kicked off the computer for a good while, but now Im back, and it seems everyone kinda left.....

ok.... maybe we should call a meeting about this on some chat or something. We need to see who is still willing to play, Who can be active, maybe a change of rules, etc.
and I am sorry for my inactiveness.

OK guys we need anyone who knows other players to get them back for a meeting, or at least find out if they're coming back. if you don;t know anyone else then i guess it'll be an empty meeting...
but we're definately going to discuss this later.

well... the way i see it, we have a couple of options.
1. Wait for everyone (not recommended)
2. Overhaul the map to be much, MUCH smaller (like one system with five or so planets) so that the game can be played with fewer people but remain expandable for players joining at a later date... and we start again with a slight boost to starting technology.
3. Blow up the world (because then we would have no problems)
4. Continue playing and make things harder for people who come back later.
5. some hypothetical fifth option... any ideas?
EDIT: I just a wacky though... thread necromancy... doesn't a necromancer bring dead things back to life? Shouldn't the term be used to denote someone who posts something in an old thread, and inadvertantly causes other people to check it out and reply to it, thus bringing the thread back to "life"?
Can i get an amen to that?

No, really Two seems to be a better idea. I say we semi-restart with that idea.
Oh, and its called thread necromancy because you are trying to bring a thread back to life, but its annoying.

Yeah, i think we could all just design a franchise specific planet, create a system with just them in it (like mars, popstar, coruscant, poke'sphere, orange star or whatever) so that it'd be a no nonsence action-packed game with possibly 4/5 people... sorta like cosmic encounter (the EPIC boardgame). Things would progress quicker too, seeing as we dont have lengthy travel/exlporation elements, just quick travel and exploration elements that gain more depth and complexity as the game goes on.
I dig it... what about everyone else?

Oh, and I would like to know who who is really going to help make this, and our staff for this site. I am still confused if anything happend while I has absent.
