Currently we only have 10 members (some of which seem to have disappeared) and i don't know how everyone else feels, but it would be nice to pull in a few more. I was thinking that maybe we should advertise the game on other websites. Don't get me wrong, i don't mean a full-blown ad, what i mean is if you're on a forum which has a thread where you can advertise your websites, then post an add there. It might just pull people in. I've advertised on the Official Nintendo Magazine forum (in the remenant of the game that was played there) and it drew in a few people, but i'm sure there's a thread somewhere which allows you to advertise websites. If you want to, go ahead.

heh, if you dont want to type it out, heres a quick code I made. copy paste this as thw advertisement! Franchise Wars Name: Franchise Wars Type: Stragity game Difficulty: medium/high. (Its an easy game) Game Info: this is a game were you may make your own franchise, be it pokemon, card games, T.V. sets... you name it and you can be it! are you ready to join? we ask that over competitive people do not join, or anyone who likes to cheat. this game is purely ran by imagination. not bad name.
I might change the bottom statement to something like "recommended for anyone who likes their strategy and friendly games played amongst a group of people", but i'll do that when i find a place to advertise. anyone else can keep it, it'll keep the cheats away (well, hopefully, but that's what the "ban member" button's for)
I'm wondering if we should do some kind of introduction offer. Say, if the new member quotes the name of the person who posted the ad, then they and the person who posts it gets a bonus or something.

How many players do we wish to aim for? 20 odd would be good to start, and latecomers would have to warrent expansions and catch up upgrades, which is fine with me.
EDIT:Oh yeah, Ill post an ad on librarium online. with most players here having hieled from TTH, more warhammer playing players will fit right in.
EDIT AGAIN: Finally someones called me just Ghost! now its an official nickname and i can say i prefer it!

your right ghost, i've found the experience on TTH was much better than on the other site, because of the game being similar in some aspects to the warhammer franchise as is.
We'll go with as many players as we have, we'll just compensate by having less mods if we don't have that many players.
