Serious Announcement

It has been on the news that a man has been killed by someone he met on a war-games internet site (unknown site). What i don't know is if the murder had anything to do with anything said or done on the site, but i'm going to have to say something on here, just to be sure.

This site may be based on a war game, but it is meant to be a fun gathering of people playing a game we all should enjoy. It is not serious in any way, nor should it be taken as such. We will not tolerate any form of abuse on this forum, and any cases of such will be dealt with immediately. If you have feelings against other people, keep them to yourself. Never give out personal details, or any form of details that can be used to trace you.

We must also remember that war is a horrible time for all parties involved, and should be remembered as such. This game is not to make fun of war, or make it sound any better than it is. The only difference with this war and real war is that ultimately none of the horrors of war are observed by anyone in real life.

I'm pretty sure everyone on here understands this already but i'd like to make it clear.

While im heiling from a franchise renown for its controversy, please do not think im a satanist or anything like that.

I simply like DOOM for its gameplay, historical contributions to videogaming, and funky monsters ( go the cacodemon, its my avvie, and the cyberdemon is the only real videogame enemy that fills me with dread).

Every "Hell" and the like I say is in context to my franchise. I wanted to clean this up, as previous fans of DOOM have been...dangerously unbalanced.

This annoncement may cause paranoa in players, and while i think the people here are sensible enough to simply focus on having a good time, less lerned players in the future could stear clear of the "Demon loving Satanistic fellow" that i may come across as in my log posts/ franshise in general.

to add to this, any rasist terms, religious, sexual themes, or extream cussing can get you kicked from the game, and maybe the site.
