The Games Season

Now that the season of "Bugger all is coming out" is waning, i was just wondering what games everyone wants to get (if any). I want to see opinions on the games too, so i can see what is hot and what is not, in FW members opinions...

I recently purchased Dead Space, which is off the bleepin' chain by the way (and is the source of the Line-Gun for all those people confused about my posts on 'Denial'. Its a retractable meter-long (width, not length. its only like 12-15 centimeters long) cutting tool that projects a line of energy between its two ends that slices apart anything it hits...it also makes/projects timed energy mines) and now I'm stuck for what to buy.

I'm a 360 owner BTW

please don't start a console/game flame war or say stuff is crap, thats just trolley and sad.

I look forward to seeing what people think about the content of the Christmas game season.

Hmmm... I do agree that Far Cry 2 will be pretty good. However... will it be a victim of Hyper Hype? Will its expectations wither it to mediocrity(like too human)? Time will tell...

As for Halo 3...true its old, but it is a rock solid shooter. So many other shooters have come after it trying to copy its swathe (my god, i love that word) of awesome...and FAILED (not mentioning any names...AH AH AH...CHOOOOhazeOOOOOturokOOOO oh, pardon me).

And gears of war...well...its so different, its so cheesily macho, its so gorey, its...its...GREAT! Gears ranks somewhere on my top ten list, because it surprised me with its original gameplay. Plus that Lancer Bayonet is off the bloody chain!

Call of Duty 4 is perfection...NO EXEPTIONS!

Crysis is a physics/graphical god. Not sure about the gameplay, as i have not played it. Also...it requires a PC forged in the heart of a black hole by the dwarfs of middle earth, using purest silver infused with the tears of a dodo. The casing must be carved from 2001's monolith, and every five seconds a can of coolant the size of a large airliner must be poured in its 'flangooberizle'. Have fun finding the flangooberizle...

Fable 2 is worth a BIG looksie, but hopefully Moleneux is not biting off more than he can chew...like last time.

DaH 3 better not Jump the Shark... If it doesn't then i might just purchase it.

And now...my own contribution.

Fallout three might just be the greatest RPG im yet too play, or it could be a cut/paste/cut/paste like oblivion...i shall have to see when my cousin inevitably purchases it.

The next two games I'll probably get are Soul Calibur 4, and Fallout 3. I'm not much of a gamer though ;D.

Oh yeah, and Dawn Of War 2. Need that.

Anyway, Far Cry 2 is gonna be more grounded (No feral abilities this time, kiddies) and poor poor Jack Carver won't be in it. It'll also be less linear, with class based systems, like sniper, rebel, guerrilla fighter etc. One big mission, and a lot of little ones. Man, they better have fast travel. Graphics are supposed to be beautiful though, better than even Crysis.

DoW2 better not stuff up 'nids, but i doubt they will.

little big planet is going to be like viva pinata... a very good game that appeals to only a handfull of people.

Bad company was soooo dissapointing, like, horribly over hyped.
