Half Life/Portal Speculation *possible spoilers*

I've just completed Half Life 2 Episode 2 and I must admit i've not played such a great series in...well ever. But one thing I do notice is the lack of questions answered, such as who is the G-Man, and what is the Borealis, and why shouldn't it be used? Also, just when is the sequel coming out anyway?

Anyway if you know something feel free to post it here. if you have any speculations, post them here. I'm speculating that a sequel's going to be a mix of half life and portal, where gordon gets the portal gun.

oh and if you know of a portal sequel, post that here too, along with speculation.

Ahh... half-life! never was a more sophisticated series conceived...

My thoughts on release dates? Its valve, "Its done when its done", so don't expect much in terms of dates this year.

As for me, i want to know who the G-mans "employers" are, and just what are the "Combine" anyway!

Yes, portal has got a sequel, as revealed in a valve voice acting adverisment, where they were after... naw, that could be a spoiler. if ya want to know then ask.

And is i just me, or was left4dead truly a stunning piece of zombie apocalipse survival-action (i hardly though for a moment that the game was really horrifying, more about survival)

left 4 dead was ok, except for the fact that it was made for multiplayer (lets be honest) and even then it had few maps, until the updates came along
