Xbox 360 network adapter question

I have recently received my Xbox and purchased Halo and Halo 2. I am currently looking into network adapters to play online. I have found two types of networks adapters:

microsoft brand: image.bizrate.com/resize?sq=160&uid=733808327&mid=72913

and

pelican brand: ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/516M95UJMJL._SL500_AA280_.jpg

What I would like to know is if anyone has had any experience with either and if there are any differences between the two.

I'd go microsoft, it's specially made for the console, so you cant go wrong with it.

However, id much rather trail a massive chord...taped around the edges of the room of course.

Not woning an xbox i don't have any experience with the matter but with my other gaming hardware i generally go for stuff that was made by the company that makes the console, cause then it's not just something that some guy botched together to make a quick profit.
