also, to the question of "how do I assign player planets" I will have the answer in a second. I am going to look at the maps and put my imput to them.
For this, I was thinking that they are assigned a planet, but the map, features, ect can be made to their choosing, as long as its not cheap.

im ghost, and im in charge of assigning the planets.

Im asking goldeneye how i should go about it, im not wondering how to pm and stuff.

Ive got everyone assigned already (using a random number gentrator, sorry gold, but i couldn't think of any other way of doing it well, and i think it turned out fine), im just wondering how to tell people what planet they got so that its fair, and seeing as im not the head honcho here, i thought i'd better ask.

I don't think you can say if moving boards is wise or not, its a hard decision to make. Currently I'd say no cause the game's set to begin sometime soon, possibly in the week, it won't take that long to sort it all out.

Ghost, i think you should either Pm everyone as to their location or just create a new thread in the map board and post a list there, either way's fine.

ghost made the galactic map so i let him decide where all the systems and planets go. it is his map after all, he knows more about it than me

Speaking of which, im going to expand upon it soon... like clean it up and make an official "galactic database" page. Its just one more step to the games commencement.

The game should be starting today. During the day the appropriate threads and boards will be created and the current boards will be customised to fit the needs. This will be happening during the day. Unfortunately I can't give an exact time for the start of the game but It should be sometime in the evening

Um... well actually i do but i copy/pasted the old map instead of replacing it... oops.

Also, how do i tell people what thier planets are... Pm them individualy so that the planets remain a secret untill game-day, Write a list with who has what and put it up, do something else etc.

there is no need of secretcy. this game is put on trust, so I guess just make a list of hows where. just make sure mines in planet popstar!
